Hampton Inn & Suites - Elyria

Upon arrival, the front desk staff were unwelcoming and rude. I was told my room wouldn't be ready until 3 PM without any check-in effort. There were insufficient pool towels, forcing us to use room towels instead, and the staff's response to my requests felt dismissive.

My favorite property in Elyria. What a very friendly and competent staff. Extremely pleasant and brand-new rooms with a pull out sofa. Peaceful, marvellous location in Elyria, near to the outskirts of Cleveland, a local golf course and shopping area.

Genuinely helpful personnel and comfy and quiet location near a shopping center. Comfortable beds, central heating, television and a coffeemaker in the room. Easy check-in, late check-out.

For a more enjoyable experience, ask for an upgraded room for better amenities, as some rooms can feel outdated.

The indoor pool was fun, and we enjoyed the fitness center too. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Just a quick tip , the breakfast can get busy, so try to arrive early.

The shower didn't have great water pressure, a bit of a letdown after a long day. It could definitely use some improvement.

The breakfast was a surprise. Had a great variety and the staff kept it stocked well. The room was spacious and the beds were surprisingly comfortable, it seemed like heaven after a long day.

It cost a pretty penny, but it was still alright I guess.

The long driveway leading in is a hassle, cutting through a busy mall parking lot. The pool area quickly turns into a steam room-when it's 98 degrees outside, you expect a refreshing dip, but instead, it seemed like a sauna was good. I also noticed an odd smell lingering in the halls, which has improved but isn't completely gone, leaving me hoping they can tidy that up further.

The staff were very good too assist me, especially when they helped locate a lost item. The rooms were pristine and perfectly comfortable. A great tip , make sure to enjoy their delicious breakfast options-they are worth it!

The indoor pool was a hit, and the breakfast had good options, especially the strawberry waffles. The spacious room fit our family perfectly, allowing everyone to have their own space.

In my wife's opinion, it would be great if they added more family-friendly activities in the hotel for the little ones.

The front desk staff were the highlight, friendly and helpful at check-in. The location worked great for my travel plans, right off the highway. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and soft linens. The coffee in the lobby was fresh, always a plus. The breakfast was lacking. They ran out of waffle mix and the selection wasn't as good as other places I've stayed. The surrounding area felt a bit abandoned, with several shops nearby closed down. It would be nice to see improvements in the breakfast offerings and maybe some attention to revitalizing the area.

Amazing place with great amenities like free wi-fi, a fitness centre, and 24-hour reception. The staff once helped me find my lost ring, which I remember fondly. I'm excited to come back for a holiday!
